Artist Statement

In my 50-year career as a performing artist, I learned the art of savoring a moment, lingering on it long enough for the audience to catch the beauty I found in it. This is the joy of storytelling. In my art as well, I long to capture the image of a savored moment and through the paint, help the viewer linger in the moment along with me.
